With issue 12 of h(y)r collective’s popular online magazine featuring an interview with Engineered Garments head designer Daiki Suzuki, they now preview the labels fall/winter collection for 2009. The line features some wearable and some slightly less wearable garments. The majority of the line is oversized and features styling of multiple layers giving a sort of fashionable Chimney Sweep meets Paperboy theme when pieced completely together. Alone the pieces seem to be very well designed and feature high quality materials such as heavy-weight virgin wool, cotton canvas, and various ripstop materials. The highlight of the fall/winter line of course is the jacket range featuring bakers coats, shawl collar vests, engineers jackets, and several morning coats, all in various materials and construction.
Check out more from the fall/winter collection after the jump.
