Earlier, we showed you a preview of Steven Alan’s new blacker BY steven alan collection of tailored shirts, jackets, ties and other assorted items. Although Steven Alan is based in New York, blacker BY steven alan can primarily be found in Japan. So, it’s fitting then, that Japanese fashion glossy Men’s Joker Magazine has a spread highlighting the Spring/Summer 09 collection. While the photos are fairly simple, it is nice to see the clothing worn by models to get a better idea of the fit and cut of each piece. Adhering to the Steven Alan aestethic, the clothing is relaxed, although blacker BY steven alan has a bit more of a sophisticated feel. We also get a better look at a sleek black leather motorcycle jacket that is a far cry from the rumpled shirts from which Steven Alan made his name.
