Supermodel, Bar Refaeli, has been immediately recognizable to the public since her appearance on the coveted Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue rocketed her to international stardom. Refaeli is now featured in the latest Elle Magzine where the Israeli beauty is photographed on the beach for a summer fashion spread.
Born in the countryside of Israel to horse ranching parents, Refaeli was a model from the start appearing in various television commercials. Her professional modeling career began at the age of 15.
Among her list of other accomplishments: In 2000 and 2001, she won back-to-back titles as Israel’s Model of the Year. She has contracts with Storm Model Management in London, and 1/One Management in New York City. She has been the spokesperson for fashion brand Luisa Cerano and is the face of clothing line Hurley and Diddy cologne, “I Am King.” She has modeled for Subaru, Accessorize, Brazilian clothing line, Besni, and Italian jewelry line Marco Bicego.
She also has been linked to superstar actor Leonardo DiCaprio and superstar surfer Kelly Slater.
