Director Seiichiro Shimamura continues to implement his philosophy of “Revolutionary Romanticism” into his Fall / Winter 2009 Men’s Collection for 0044 Paris. This artistic expression has been consistent since the line’s conception in 2003. The latest offerings in their site’s images convey a dark and serious aesthetic including long, draped overcoats, oversized scarves, a dominantly black and grey color palette and carefully accessorized gloves. All of the outfits look extremely comfortable. The fit of the knitwear and coats do not seem at all constricting, and there is generous amount of room in the legs and crotch of the pants.
