Filippa K may have its origins in the Northern European climate of Stockholm, but you wouldn’t know it based on its Spring 2009 campaign, shot by Patrik Sehlstedt in a stark, barren desert. The sparse backdrop reflects the minimalist sophistication of the collection, showcasing the expert style that has made it one of the leading Swedish fashion exports. Model Texas Olsson sports a range of styles from the line, from the most casual — a polka-dot t-shirt paired with 5-pocket jeans — to the ultimate in formal wear, a modern, crisp baby blue tux. Despite the simplicity of the looks shown here, there is a great amount of attention paid to detail. This can be seen in the light blue short-collar shirt with a covered placket, and the slim pair of shorts with pleats and cuffs. This campaign keeps in line with the Filippa K brand’s vision of keeping traditional pieces young and fresh.
