In 2007, two Parisian designers created their own label and launched their first collection to the watching public in Paris after imagining their concept for their own line two years previously. The French-German duo, Luise & Franck, draw inspiration from expressionist art, psyche folk music, and post-modern architecture, and develop a minimalist and expressive style aiming to combine tailored elegance with urban casualness. Their autumn/winter collection, titled “Vanished”, showcase various basic garments, including shirts, scarves, and a hooded jumper, in minimalistic colour tones, giving the wearer a selection of sophisticated outfits to choose from.
