Loomstate for Target might be old news but if you haven’t had the chance to check out the selections at Target you should do so now. In 2004 designers Rogan Gregory and Scott Hahn launched Loomstate. The goal of the New York City label was to create casual clothes using certified organic materials, and socially and environmentally responsible methods. Loomstate takes an active approach to producing its clothing and manages every stage of manufacturing to ensure all “partners are participating in responsible manufacturing processes.” The result of Loomstate’s efforts is a line of clothing that has a comfortable lived in character. On top of being environmentally friendly, Loomstate clothing is wallet friendly as well. The label has teamed with Target for a limited collection of t-shirts, shorts, button-ups, and hoodies. Nothing too trend-setting, but perfect for casual weekends. Prices range from $18-$40. It’s nice to know that you can still look good in tough economic times.
