Just because you’re more likely to see ex-Wall Streeters in a bar in jeans these days, doesn’t mean you can’t look back on the more dapper attire favored by gentlemen of years past, as GQ Style does with this editorial, entitled “Vertigo.” Shot by Phil Poynter and styled by David Bradshaw for the Spring/Summer 2009 edition of the semi-annual magazine, the spread features models Sean Harju, Blake Kuchta, Brendan Ruck and others taking in their conversation and their drinks in timeless suits and tuxedos. With pieces from the likes of Thom Browne and Brooks Brothers, it may not be the most recession-friendly depiction of nightlife fashion, but it is certainly one worth browsing.
