HOPE Spring/Summer 2009 Collection

Devotees of labels like Filippa K and J. Lindeberg have been singing the praises of Scandanavian style for years. Another brand out of Sweden, Hope Stockholm, is continuing that legacy and winning over new fans worldwide. Founded in 2001 by Stefan Soderberg and Ann Ringstrand, Hope offers a full range of men’s and women’s shoes, clothing and accessories. Their Spring/Summer 09 menswear collection is something of a study in contrasts in tailoring and color palette. Muted grays, whites and blacks are set off with turquoise trousers and purple sweaters. Clean, crisply tailored jackets and shorts are complemented by relaxed, wide-cut tees and cardigans. As with many other labels this season, Hope offers up several updated variations on the trench coat. Check out the patterned Inspector Coat if you want to stand out from the crowd.
