Camera lovers the world around have been a buzz about this DSLR gem when Nikon annoucned its release of the D5000 camera earlier this week. With a 12.3 megapixel sensor and up to 3200 ISO you can expect superb picture quality and with 4 fps bursts you can expect lots of them. The D5000 sports 19 scene modes, 11 point auto focus, and 3D focus tracking making for nothing but easy shooting for any occassion that arises. In the back Nikon has given us a 2.7″ articulating display with one touch Live View. This articulating display will come in handy for those tough to reach shots (i.e. up skirt shots). Last but not least, 720p movie mode. No longer will you have to choose to be a Flickr’ing guru or the next youTube sensation, the Nikon D5000 can give you it all. Expect to pay $849 for body and 18-55mm VR lens or $729 for body alone.
