2009 Acura ZDX Concept
The newest Acura concept was recently revealed at the 2009 New York Auto Show. The ZDX concept is a mixture of a sports coupe and a sports-utility vehicle. It is being dubbed as a “luxury performance coupe-plus,” thus creating a new segment in the auto market. This sporty ride features a sloping fastback roof, tinted glass surface, and very unique light features. It was designed by Michelle Christensen, who wanted the “ZDX’s exterior to draw you into a rich interior.” Acura also points that the ZDX concept uses an all-aluminum V-6 with VTEC, a new six-speed automatic, and the brand’s trademark SH-AWD system.
