Cerruti’s take for their Spring Summer 2009 collection is to centralize their design towards three major themes that surround the modern man: to live, work, and enjoy. Cerruti’s styling are all easily interchangeable with fabrics all being identical in almost all their pieces. There’s a certain simple elegance in the collection with items like satin suits, wool tuxedos, linen sweaters, and more. The colors are very relaxed with brown, light blue, and black being the the hues that follow their live, work, and play theme. More images and info after the jump.
This season the world of CERRUTI 1881 is built around the three major themes of modern living: to live, to work and to enjoy.
The modernity of a combination wardrobe
The active CERRUTI man will appreciate these cleverly constructed pieces which are offered in identical fabrics and which adapt easily to the demands of a busy life. No need to go home to change after a day at the office: suffice to take off the jacket, slip on a lighter version and head off to the pub to set the world to rights.
In a mineral palette of beige, khaki and white, the casual collection is awash with timeless classics: cotton twin-sets with djellaba necklines, straight leg saharas which hang impeccably, relooked linen pyjama trousers version sybarite.
Board-room or beach, a slim silhouette dominates the look, subtly.
