Jackets lend so much to my outfits. My summer-day wardrobe is surrendered to white and grey tees or white and blue button-ups, and I do not intend on abandoning this motif in future summers. However, I relish the opportunity to sport light jackets for cooler summer evenings to showcase whatever stylishness that I may have. Spring season affords me a window to wear several light jackets.
London-based YMC (You Must Create) influences their modernist approach to the trench coat. The cotton shell is not typical to most trenches which feature thicker and sturdier fabric. The wax cotton reflects light to add an interesting sheen and is extremely lightweight. Other features of the coat include drawstring hood with central zip detail, belted waist, and double button-fastening throat tab. Available at OiPolloi. More images after the jump.
