The influence of architecture and the geometry of skyscrapers is evident in N. Holywood’s Fall/Winter 2009 collection. Jackets take on a very straight lengthy figure, and patterns such as grids and angular shapes are infused. For their suits, the tailoring is reminiscent of the old classic ensembles throughout history, 40′s through 60′s come to mind. There is also a hint of playfulness to the garments as denim and sweaters bare colorful patterns and stitches, which makes the collection even more diverse. More images after the jump.
