Ocean Front Residence by Grant + Sinclair Architects

main-ocean

This ocean front residence by Grant + Sinclair Architects was recently featured on Canadian ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN magazine’s September/October issue of 2008. The West Vancouver home is not only a beautiful and ultramodern piece of property, it is also sustainable. It features a geothermal system, uses solar panels for energy, and collects rainwater for use. The interiors of the house features Pennsylvania bluestone walls and beechwood acoustic ceiling panels. To access the pool area, there is a retractable door which also leads you to a fantastic view of the ocean.

…Nice that you’ve used “alternative energy” in the home design, but how does that make this oversized fashion statement in any way sustainable???

Who would honestly care about the “sustainability” you’re talking about if they owned this thing? Get off your high horse buddy.

It has just been brought to my attention, via a member of our staff, that you were the original source for the G+S article that we published on the Adelto website. We have now rectified this and given a a link stating this fact.

Others do not seem to transfer real life ethics and morals onto the www, and give credit, where credit is due. We apologise for this momentary slip. It shall not happen again.

Kind Regards
Richard

These articles fascinate me, how does one join the website? I just get an error message.
