Collection Designer, Daiki Suzuki, is stuck in his ways. You will not see a drastic departure in Spring 2009 from his natural looking pieces that have a post modern and deconstructive quality about them. Influences and details from American sportswear, outdoor clothing, and military uniforms are all included in the collection and give Engineered Garments unique and practical detailing. One obvious distinction this season is Daiki’s use of floral patterns for a more light hearted appearance, which contrasts his more “serious workman” fall collections.
