Asustek Bamboo Laptop

Asustek has announced its release for its eco-conscious laptop. With electronic waste becoming a bigger problem, Asus’s initiative to use renewable products has now become more public. The laptop features a casing made of bamboo, which is a fast growing plant that is common throughout Asia. The plant has a variety of uses from furniture to food, and more. Performance wise, the notebook runs on an Intel Core 2 Duo microprocessor with Microsoft Windows Vista  as its operating system. It has a 12.1-inch screen for viewing and will be priced at about $1,800. No exact date on a U.S. release yet.
