Ex McLaren designer Richard Thorpe, who set up Karbon Kinetics is focusing on the sale release of his electric commuter bike, the Gocycle. The bike is a sleek and modern urban bicycle powered by a high performance electric motor. It features a magnesium frame made from a process called “thixmolding,” it’s motor is strong enough to reach legal road speed limits, and is portable with it’s carrying case. The bike has plug in and play capabilities, with an in-frame battery pack. Having been in development for nearly six years, Thorpe feels it is time to finally release the bike.
